SuperMap

GISBox is a one-stop 3D GIS data editing, conversion and publishing platform that supports editing in multiple GIS formats such as OSGB/GEOTIFF/RVT, converting to 3DTiles/Terrain and publishing.

Introduction

SuperMap is developed by Beijing SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. It combines spatial data processing, geographic information visualization and powerful spatial analysis functions. SuperMap mainly consists of four parts: desktop tools (SuperMap Desktop), secondary development components (SuperMap Objects), network development tools (SuperMapIS .NET) and embedded development tools (eSuperMap).

File Structure

SuperMap products support opening and creating multiple data source types, which are mainly divided into file-based data sources, database-based data sources, Web data sources, and memory data sources. Among them, file-based data sources store spatial data and attribute data directly in files with the extension “.udb” or “.udbx”.

  5. **Good compatibility: **SuperMap GIS 2024 version has successfully achieved perfect adaptation with the new Loongarch architecture Loongson 3A6000CPU, and is compatible with Huawei’s Ascend AI computing chip, as well as domestic graphics rendering GPUs such as Xindong and Xiangdixian. At the same time, this version also added support for domestic operating systems such as Runhe and ZTE New Support Point, as well as many domestic self-developed databases such as Yashan Database, further enhancing the compatibility and performance of the software.
