GISBox supports converting OSGB and other formats into 3DTiles format and publishing them. This tutorial will introduce the use of regular model groups. (Click to view the model service tutorial)
The generated model group can be viewed in the “Group” in the “Service” interface, as shown below:
First, click the “Add” button in the upper right corner to create a model group.
In “Service Name”, you can customize the service group name.
Click the “Select” button on the right to add services in “Model Services”, check the services in “Select Group Members”, and then click “Yes”.
The “Up” option allows you to select the Y axis or Z axis in the 3D scene as the upward axis.
Finally, click “Add” to successfully add the model group.
Configuration Item | Description |

ID | Each added model group will have its own ID and will be sorted in the order of release time. The earlier the release time, the larger the ID. |
Service Name | The default service name is the name set when adding the model group. |
Streaming Date | Indicates the time when the model group was released. |
File Path | The model collection has no file path, so it is displayed as “***“. |
Service Address | The service address generated by GISBox can be applied to GIS platforms such as Cesium, and can also be applied to some digital twin project building platforms, such as Wings Engine. |
You can enter the name of the group service in the search bar to search.
Click the “Preview” button to open and view the model group in the browser, as shown below:
The model group opened in the browser is shown below:
Select the model group you want to delete, right-click the task and click the “Delete” button to delete the selected model group.
When a new model group is added but not displayed in the interface, you can click the “Refresh” button in the upper right corner to load the newly added model group, as shown in the following figure:
The generated service address can be applied to GIS platforms such as Cesium, and can also be applied to some digital twin project building platforms, such as Wings Engine.
First, click the “Copy” button to copy the service address, as shown below:
Open Wings Engine and click the “New” button in the upper left corner to create a new project.
Click GIS on the left, select “GIS Blank”, enter the project name, and finally click the “Create” button.
After the project is successfully created, it will be automatically opened, as shown below:
Click GIS Service on the left, select “3DTiles”, and click “+” to open the pop-up window for importing 3DTiles, as shown below:
Select “JSON Address” as the import type, paste the copied service address into the input field, and finally click the “Import” button.
You can see the imported model in the “GIS layer” of the component layer, as shown below:
